Had a lovely stay in the king suite. The room was spacious with high-end furnishings and a private bathroom. I enjoyed the fresh local scones and yogurt at breakfast. The hosts Mark and Mathilde were super friendly, and the views of the calming river were breathtaking. Relaxing atmosphere for sure!

If you plan to explore the area, be prepared to drive a bit further for a wider selection of dining choices, as nearby options are somewhat limited.

It was just an excellent fit for an overnight stay in South Berwick with reasonable value. The hosts welcomed my friends when they needed a place to change for a wedding. Don’t miss out on the fresh scones in the morning.

The place felt like home, with beautiful surroundings and a wonderful breakfast featuring fresh yogurt and local scones. Mark and Sylvia were great hosts, making us feel welcome. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay!
